Webb11 mars 2024 · The film is very much from the POV of its young protagonist, Fiona, who pieces together stories she’s told by her fascinating community. Fiona is lovely. She’s a great listener and sensitive to things the adults in family miss. She and her teenage cousin show tremendous ingenuity and a willingness to work hard —very empowering for kids. WebbJust back from my first visit to Roan Inish islands today on a friends boat and apart from the brilliant weather saw the wildlife including seals. If was magical. Portnoo beach is great and we kayak out to Innishkeel island weather permitting. The guinness also is good and there are plenty of places to stay in the area!
