With all the buildings built during Edo period still intact, it is a valuable shrine designated as a national Important Cultural Property. It is one of the Tokyo 10 Shrines and also one of the most visited energy spots in the city. WebNezu Shrine, or Nezu Jinja in Japanese, is the best known place of the area. Located 5 minutes on foot from Nezu Station, it is one of the oldest shrines of the city. Nezu shrine is said to have been established more than 1,900 years ago for the deity Susano'o no Mikoto.
