With the front of the washer off, I can turn the dial to start the spin cycle, I can hear it start to drain water and the tensioner pulley moves slightly as if it is taking the slack out of the belt but the drum won't spin and after 15 sec or so I can smell some burning. WebThe water drains correctly but when the spin starts it does it so hard that the wet clothes bunch up and cause it to unbalance and restart the rinse. We can get away with washing a very full load but any sort of partial load of clothes …
